dc.description.abstractI have explained the energy system and the means and steps for the transporting and distribution of electrical energy. Moreover, I mentioned the transformer and explained its types and also its protection devices. 25 MVA was the power given, and the voltage levels were 132 kV and 22 kV, based on this I chose the transformers for the grid then I calculated the cross-section and chose the wires for the designed grid. I have also calculated the short circuit current and operational currents for the switchgears (Circuit breaker, Fuses and Disconnectors).hu_HU
