This thesis investigates the biodegradation of different polycaprolactones and polyurethane. The biodegradation of these polymers was monitored through the production of CO2. In this article, we look at the factors that affect the biodegradation of polymers. We also look at the roles these polymers play in curbing plastic waste. This also highlights the importance of biodegradable polymers in different industries such as the medical industry, packaging, etc.
