Various polyurethane samples were manufactured in this research utilizing biodegradable and biocompatible raw materials such as poly(ε-caprolactone)-diol, 1,6-Hexamethylene diisocyanate, and glucose. The amounts of diol and diisocyanate were held constant while the amount of glucose was varied to investigate the effect of glucose on crosslinking and the mechanical properties of the sample. Using a swelling test, the crosslink density was assessed. In addition, a tensile mechanical test was conducted to assess the materials' mechanical properties.
