dc.description.abstractThere is a large number of operational needs every working day for libraries. And these tasks occupy a multitude of time and energy for the library staff. In this scenario, the traditional paper-based management methods can no longer satisfy the needs of modern libraries well. Therefore, a system that can automate management tasks is of great significance to contemporary libraries. A library management system is an integral part of a modern library. This thesis mainly focuses on the process of developing and implementing a library management system for Android devices in a real-world setting.
