This thesis presents the design, development, and evaluation of a Smart Home Website — a full-stack web application built with React 18, TypeScript, and Supabase PostgreSQL, deployed on Vercel. The system provides real-time IoT device monitoring and control via a custom DeviceContext architecture that supports optimistic updates and echo prevention. It implements a three-role access control model enforced through PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, alongside a server-side automation engine executed via stored functions and pg_cron scheduling. An intelligence layer delivers smart recommendations, behavior-pattern detection, room-occupancy inference, energy tracking, and sustainability scoring — all built on a single shared activity log table. The application was validated through Vitest unit tests, Selenium WebDriver end-to-end tests against the live Vercel deployment, and Lighthouse performance and WAVE accessibility audits.
