In this thesis, main focus was to design a novel superconducting magnet for medical MRI applications. Traditionally, Magnet section is the main component of MRI systems which consists of conventional permanent magnetic coils. However, in this project, I replaced the conventional permanent magnet with superconducting magnet which consists of YBCO superconducting tape and coils.
