Restaurant Management Application Development

Abstract

This thesis is designed and developed to be a comprehensive, web-based Restaurant Management Application that addresses the core operational needs. The application provides role-based interfaces for administrators, waiters, and chefs, as well as a customer-facing menu and ordering system. Each user role has a tailored dashboard with the specific tools required for their responsibilities, ensuring that the interface is focused and efficient rather than overwhelming users with features they do not need. The system supports the complete lifecycle of a restaurant order - from the moment a customer places an order, through kitchen preparation and serving, to final billing and receipt generation. Real-time updates via WebSocket technology ensure that all staff members are immediately informed of order changes, minimizing delays and miscommunication.
