Utilizing an extensive database of IATF-certified firms, this thesis employs Potential Modeling, Origin-Destination matrices, and Interpolation Methods to analyze the spatial structure of the automotive industry in two semi-peripheral countries: Mexico and Hungary. By using ArcGIS Pro and a suite of geoprocessing tools, the research identifies and compares the industrial hierarchies within both nations. This comparative analysis evaluates the spatial distribution of manufacturing hubs and establishes a methodological framework for future research into regional industrial connectivity.
