This thesis shows the creation of a personal finance management system called, Financially. It is built using react.js for the frontend development, Node.js and Express.js for backend development, PostgreSQL for database and also uses bank integration through Plaid API. The application has dashboard page where users can see the overview of their finances, a transactions page that shows all past transactions, a budgets page for creating budgets and tracking budgets progress. The application has strong security processes. User passwords are hashed before storage, authentication is handled through JWT and the communication with the plaid API is encrypted. The thesis document gives a clear understanding of the problem statement and full stack development.
