Application of PLC in Hydrogen Production Process

Absztrakt

This thesis investigates the application of programmable logic controllers in the hydrogen production process based on PEM technology. The primary objective of this work is to develop a virtual automation system that simulates the control and monitoring of a green hydrogen production plant. The control logic is implemented using the Structured Text (ST) programming language, in accordance with the IEC 61131-3 standard. The process is visualized and managed through a Human-Machine Interface (HMI), allowing operators to interact intuitively with the system. Furthermore, the system is integrated into a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) platform enabling remote monitoring, data analysis, and system diagnostics.
