Diabetes mellitus is a disease in which the blood sugar is excessive resulting in the damage of several tissues (e.g. eye, kidney, nerves, etc). The compounds studied in this Thesis are examples of glycogen phosphorylase which is used in the treatment and care of diabetes mellitus. The compounds were studied under soft ionization conditions (Electrospray Ionization) using a mass spectrometer and two different ions. Their fragmentation pathways and fragmentation patterns were investigated, and the typical fragments were identified. The Survival Yields and Collision Energies were also studied. The fragmentation stabilities of these compounds were found out after thier comparing them with each other.hu_HU
