This study explores the application of Mn-complex as a catalyst for converting CO2 into formic acid in aqueous media, which combines experimental and theoretical DFT analyses. It identifies optimal catalytic conditions and mechanisms, enhancing understanding and application in CO2 utilization strategies. The study highlights an application in sustainable catalyst development for environmental mitigation of CO2.
