Searching for displaced vertexes from the decay of the X17 particle

Abstract

This work reviews all the previous work done by the team at ATOMKI regarding the X17 anomaly. The main work is the study of the multiple scattering effects on the vertex location. It also discussing possible sources of systematic errors. Lastly it mentions all the work done by different collaborations around the world and discuss the current status of each.
