dc.description.abstractIn search of luxuries and making life easier, humans start finding quick solutions to facilitate their lives. The use of fossil fuels benefitted industries and provided the supply more than the demand. This was helping humans to modernize their lives until it starts destroying their health. The consistent use of fossil fuels resulted in global warming leading to the catastrophic climate events. These events not only destroy properties but also endanger every life on Earth. One of the biggest realities that comes with the use of fossil fuels is that they are non-renewable energy sources and they will deplete one day. The total dependence on them will leave no source of energy for future and environment will be polluted enough by then that it will be difficult to even breathe. Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, tidal and hydro power will never deplete and these carbon-free sources are environmentally friendly. They are sustainable and pollution free. The United Kingdom has realized the severity of the issue and has started looking for the solutions before more deadly environmental situations happen. Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland are the four countries making the entire roadmap of the United Kingdom, they all have initiated the policies for the renewable generation. Scotland is leading in their goals to achieve one hundred percent of the renewable generation by 2030. The other countries of the United Kingdom have set their goals to be achieved till 2050. The short-term goals set by them were achieved with promising opportunities for future as well. Some parts of the UK are struggling because of the climate change but they have focused on the other available renewable generations policies.
