Absztrakt

The research focuses on the potential of bacteria cellulose produced by Acetobacter xylinum as a sought-after pure cellulose substance, valued by industries for its remarkable properties such as high water holding capacity, degree of polymerization, mechanical strength, crystallization, and purity. Despite its potential, the sustainability of the textile industry faces challenges in meeting growing demand. The study aims to address this by exploring the advancements in bacteria cellulose, with a particular emphasis on the fermentation processes essential for industrial production. The Hestrin-Schramm (HS) medium is identified as one of the most conducive growth environments for bacteria cellulose, exhibiting a high BC indicator and a moderately good conversion rate from carbon source to cellulose. The research seeks to delve into the properties of cellulose that render it valuable for industries, unravel the biochemical processes driving its production, and comprehend the key components necessary for optimal fermentation. Ultimately, the investigation aims to shed light on the impact of fermentation conditions on cellulose production, exploring alternative methods to reduce production costs and enhance the viability of bacteria cellulose for use in the textile and various other industries.
