dc.description.abstractThis thesis explores how Treasury Management Systems (TMS) work as Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) and how they help company managers make better decisions. A TMS brings together important financial tasks like managing cash, forecasting liquidity, handling risks, and meeting legal regulations - all in one system. It gives real-time financial data and helps companies plan more efficiently and make faster decisions. The system also helps teams across the company work together by sharing accurate and up-to-date information. The thesis also explains how new technologies like artificial intelligence and cloud computing make TMS even more useful. These tools help with faster analysis, safer data handling, and automatic processes. Real-life examples are used to show how a TMS improves daily operations and supports long-term financial goals. In short, TMS is more than a finance tool - it is a modern system that supports the whole company in making smart and safe decisions.
