Road vehicle noise significantly impacts our daily lives, with interior vehicle acoustics creating a unique auditory experience. Following ISO 5128:2023 guidelines, we measure and analyze vehicle noise by considering factors like engine operation and tire-road interaction. This study aims to understand vehicle acoustics for improved rider comfort and environmental impact. Traffic noise can affect mental health, causing stress and reduced concentration. Sound level meters (SLMs) help monitor road noise levels, using microphones to measure sound pressure. These devices require proper calibration and standardization for accurate readings.
