dc.description.abstractIn this dissertation, we explored the development, testing, and evaluation of BookWorm, an innovative online platform for book exchange. The research focused on implementing modern web development technologies and best practices to create a user-friendly and efficient system. Extensive testing, including unit, integration, and system tests, was conducted to ensure the platform's functionality, performance, security, and user experience met high standards. The use of tools like Jest for unit testing and Cypress for integration testing played a crucial role in identifying and rectifying potential issues, thereby enhancing the overall quality of the platform. The study's findings highlight the importance of thorough testing methodologies in software development and provide insights for future improvements and expansions of the BookWorm platform, underscoring its potential to revolutionize the online book exchange market.
