The design aspect of a 10kV,500A inductive superconducting fault current limiter was analyzed. The effect of the superconductor in the fault current limiter was defined. When placed in the system, in the absence of fault current, the superconducting fault current limiter had no impedance and was seen to be in its superconducting state and in the presence of fault,it went out of its superconducting state into normal state and had impedance which limited the said fault current.hu_HU
