Micropropagation of Drosera using plant tissue culture techniques

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the process of in vitro micropropagation as a plant tissue culture technique. It was used on some species of the Drosera genus which include Drosera binata, Drosera communis, Drosera affinis and Drosera capensis. It contains the materials needed, the necessary conditions, the methodology and the advantages as well as the limitations faced with using micropropagation. The study also contains literature on other Drosera species.
