Fingerprint-based lock system implementation for a shared mailroom (smart locks)

Abstract

My security project incorporates a unique authentication method for the mailrooms and mailboxes. The mailbox will enable the storage of personal and confidential documents, which will be protected by a variety of security devices. The goal set for this project is to provide a fingerprint/password-based lock system for a residential shared mailbox area, that is only accessible by residents and authorized personnel. I have programmed and assembled components to work as per the project planned. In order to fulfill the system's requirements, a PCB was designed along with schematics on KICAD
