This thesis presents the development process of a movie recommendation application that leverages modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Node.js technologies. The purpose of this thesis is to implement a movie recommendation system that covers all existing movies worldwide, considering the full spectrum of available offerings without commercial bias, which gives users a new cinematic experience. It will provide a comprehensive examination of the entire development journey for the web application, commencing with the preliminary planning and design stages and culminating with the implementation and launch of the application. The various phases of the development lifecycle will be covered, encompassing requirement analysis, architectural design, and development.
