Designing a Web-based Personalized Movie Recommendation Application Based on User Preferences

Abstract

The thesis presents a web application designed to help users manage their movie and TV-watching experiences more efficiently. It addresses common problems such as decision fatigue, forgetting recommended titles, and losing track of episodes. The app allows users to create and manage a personal watchlist, mark episodes as watched, and receive personalized recommendations based on their preferences and social input. By simplifying organization and reducing browsing time, the application enhances viewing enjoyment. Overall, it aims to make entertainment more accessible, personalized, and time-efficient for busy individuals.
