The Web-based scheduling system developed for the University of Debrecen's Department of Computer Engineering is a sophisticated software solution designed to streamline the management of academic schedules. Utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, the project offers a robust platform that automates the generation and management of timetables, ensuring optimal allocation of courses, rooms, and resources while minimizing scheduling conflicts. The system features distinct interfaces tailored to students, faculty, and administrators, providing them with functionalities such as course enrolment, access to teaching schedules, and comprehensive administrative controls over the academic and resource management processes.
