T The modern manufacturing industry, specifically the rapidly evolving electric bicycle (e-bike) market, faces significant pressure to optimise operations with advanced technologies such as SAP S/4HANA. This thesis investigates the application of project management processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment, focusing on balancing the Triple Constraint of scope, time, and budget. The study addresses a critical problem: user resistance to complex ERP systems and the lack of tailored training. The research utilises a Design Science Research (DSR) framework integrated with a mixed-methods approach. Qualitatively, the study defines operational hurdles and user resistance through semi-structured inquiries, while quantitatively, it evaluates system performance and baseline metrics. A central component of the research is a mini-case study simulating the "Development of Electronic Mountain Bike" (Project P/3011) using the Global Bike Industries (GBI) virtual dataset. This simulation encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from initial Data Design and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to final financial closure. Key findings demonstrate that the SAP Project System (PS) enables "instantaneous analytics" and real-time monitoring of project status. The use of a hierarchical Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Network Activities effectively manages project scope and timelines, while Availability Control (AVC) serves as a proactive tool to prevent budget overruns. The research concludes that a role-based SAP Fiori interface, combined with a systematic, modular training program, is essential for overcoming user resistance and simplifying system complexity. Ultimately, this thesis provides a comprehensive roadmap for both higher education and industrial practitioners, bridging the gap between theoretical project management and the practical demands of Intelligent Enterprise.
