dc.description.abstractNon-flavonoids are widespread secondary metabolites in plants that have received much attention for their excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial potential, etc. The aim of this thesis was to characterise non-flavonoids in elder (Sambucus nigra), birch (Betula), and goldenrods (Solidago) using a new method(Mass-remainder analysis (MARA)) of integrated flavonoid filtration based on direct infusion mass spectrometry (DIMS) analysis. Many widely distributed non-flavonoids compounds such as coumaric acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid and their derivatives were identified in the three herbs studied, and many compounds specific to them were also identified, such as solidagenone in goldenrods, etc. After comparison and data review, many non-flavonoid compounds have been confirmed in these three herbs, but there are also many compounds that have not been confirmed. Due to the lack of further structural analysis, we can only determine the elemental composition of the peaks, and its structure needs to be further studied.hu_HU
