dc.description.abstractSince the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in late 2019, several therapeutic possibilities have appeared to treat patients who are often in severe condition due to the pathogen. As more information  becomes available about the virus, the therapeutic strategies can be more specific. Cyclodextrins are well known molecules in the pharmaceutical industry. Due to their special structure they can be widely used in drug development. One of our main research topic is the application of cyclodextrins, so considering the current pandemic situation, it was relevant for us to summarize the role of cyclodextrin molecules in the therapy of COVID-19 disease. In the course of our literary research, we have found many interesting theories and promising developments.en
dc.description.abstractA SARS-CoV-2 vírus 2019 év végi felbukkanása óta nagyszámú terápiás stratégia látott napvilágot a kórokozó miatt sokszor nagyon súlyos állapotba kerülő betegek kezelésére. Ahogy egyre több ismeret áll rendelkezésre a vírusról, annál jobban lehet a terápia kapcsán felmerülő ötleteket is finomítani. A ciklodextrinek már régóta ismert molekulák a gyógyszeriparban, különleges szerkezetükből adódóan sokféleképpen felhasználhatók gyógyszerfejlesztés során.  Tekintettel a jelenlegi pandémiás helyzetre fontosnak gondoltuk összefoglalni, hogy a kutatócsoportunk által már évek óta vizsgált ciklodextrin molekuláknak milyen szerepe lehet a COVID-19 betegség terápiájában. Az elvégzett irodalmi kutatómunka során sok érdekes elméletet és ígéretes fejlesztést találtunk.hu
