dc.description.abstractStep forward to the Industry 5.0, AI technology may appear in the production lines more commonly and propery. My thesis reviews the lean principles and classified AI algorithms. Based on its attribute that AI performs well in certain area like pattern recognition, data analysis and decision-making, I introduce several applications how AI technology can improve lean processes, like production forecast, identify wastes. Then in order to strength the point , I find nine case studies to illustrate the detailed methods and their relations. Finally I adopt the swot analysis to comprehensively identify the good and bad outcomes if more AI algorithms will be involved in lean management.
