Cross-Platform Task Management (To-Do List) Application

Abstract

This thesis presents the development of a cross-platform task management application for Android and iOS using a single codebase. The project explores the advantages of Flutter for frontend development integrated with a Django REST backend and PostgreSQL database. The research also compares native and cross-platform approaches, justifying my selection of these specific frameworks for scalability and performance. Key features implemented include user authentication through Firebase, API serialization, and a user-friendly interface for task organization. This documentation covers the entire lifecycle of my project, from system architecture and user behavior analysis to technical implementation and testing. Finally, the project demonstrates that the combination of Flutter and Django provides a powerful, secure, and scalable foundation for modern mobile productivity tools.
