Fragmentation study of protonated and lithiated pyrazoline derivatives under electrospray conditions

Absztrakt
This thesis attempts to study how three-substituted 2-pyrazoline derivatives degrade into smaller components when they collide under various conditions. It also analyzes the differences in fragmentation pathways when they have lithium or a proton attached. Methods used include mass-spectrometry, MS/MS and pseudo-MS. After the experiments and evaluation several common dissociation paths were established, as well as several characteristic differences between lithiated and protonated compounds.
