dc.description.abstractThis thesis reports on the history of virtual reality and its applications. The main focus of this thesis is on the implementation of virtual reality in architecture. You will find information on how the use of virtual reality is changing architectural visualization. Also presented is an introduction and history of architectural visualization. This research is supported by work done involving the handling of a 3D architecture model in 3D modelling software. You will also find work that shows how an architect may then use game engines such as Unreal Engine to present their architecture design in as realistic a fashion as possible. This includes adding of realistic lighting and textures. The final part of this work will explain how a 3D model may be brought into VR, so that it may be explored using VR equipment.hu_HU
