The galectins are a family of galactose‐binding proteins playing critical roles in inflammatory forms and cancer. In any case, they are exceptionally closely related, and the discovery of exceedingly particular inhibitors is challenging. Moreover, they have an affinity for beta-galactosides. So based on that, our aim was to synthesize some potential inhibitors and test them biologically.hu_HU
