This thesis explores the critical role of human factors in aviation accidents and examines the efforts of manufacturers and civil aviation authorities to mitigate these risks. It categorizes human factors into errors, psychological and physical issues, and organizational flaws, highlighting their significant impact on aviation safety. The study evaluates current safety measures, including Crew Resource Management (CRM), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Threat and Error Management (TEM), while identifying gaps in implementation. It emphasizes the importance of proactive regulatory frameworks, continuous training, and fostering a culture of safety awareness. The research offers insights into enhancing aviation safety and reducing accidents by analyzing roles and regulations from organizations like the FAA, EASA, and ICAO.
