This thesis investigates the current state of Research Data Management (RDM) in pediatric healthcare, highlighting the unique challenges and opportunities within this specialized field. It identifies significant issues such as data quality, caregiver-reported variability, and the need for standardized practices to improve data collection and management. Investigated through distributing a survey to employees in the pediatric healthcare industry and analyzing, ultimately, this research aims to contribute to better healthcare outcomes for children by optimizing RDM practices within the pediatric sector.
