Something like aircraft is the heart of air travel, and Flight Maintenance is an arm of aviation safety and operational reliability at cost. With the continuous growth and modernization of the aviation industry, the need for high-quality, ontime, and regulatory-compliant maintenance service has only increased. Thanks to its skilled labor, EASA conformity and relatively low operational costs, Hungary has turned into an up-and-coming Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centre in Central Europe. A Thesis of Aircraft Maintenance in Hungary: Tourism, tourism centres and initiatives, business impact It is especially focused on major MROplayers Aeroplex of Central Europe and Lufthansa Technik Budapest and on the influence of low-cost carriers e.g. Wizz Air on maintenance policy. Using a mixedmethods approach based on the analysis of secondary data, a review of regulatory policies, and simulation-based evaluation, the study identifies supply- side constraints including challenges related to workforce shortages, regulatory burden, and the availability of training programs. The study also looks into prospects related to technology progress, predictive maintenance systems, and global collaboration. The results indicate that although Hungary has the basic ingredients of a competitive aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector, strategicinvestment in training, hardware, and policy support will be needed for this sustainable growth to materialize. Final observations are presented in the form of practical recommendations, which strive to increase the purpose of the country for the needs of the European and global systems of air maintenance
