This thesis concentrates on the analysis of the techniques and the benefit of using virtualization in networking and the need for it. Virtual machines can be considered as a computer to access, manage, and collect status data from them, and these data can be exported and analysed. These virtual machines can also represent virtual networks and act the same as the physical network and can be accessed from the outside (physical network) to read and collect status data. These virtual networks can communicate with each other. The main idea in this work is to prove these points, by designing multiple virtual networks that represents real world case scenario, these virtual networks contain many internets of things devices and all of the devices in these virtual networks can be seen from the physical network. A main factor in this work is the use of an SDN controller to make the virtual networks accessible from the physical network and to be able to manage these virtual networks and collect information and data about them. Multiple ways to access the virtual networks, that is considered as a computer, from outside (from the physical network) will be introduced in this work, and how these ways work to collect different types of data from outside and export some of these data to the physical network for further analysis
