dc.description.abstractThis thesis presents the design and development of an interactive Virtual Reality experience dedicated to Real Madrid CF, created using Unity 2022.3.2f1 and the XR Interaction Toolkit. The project includes a main menu, a 360° immersive video player, and a virtual museum environment. Through detailed implementation of XR systems, input management, and 3D modeling, the experience allows users to explore the club’s history in an engaging, immersive way. Free and open-source assets were utilized where possible, while respecting copyright and licensing limitations, ensuring the project remained educational and non-commercial. Despite challenges in asset availability and optimization for VR, the project successfully demonstrates how virtual environments can preserve and showcase sports heritage through modern technology. The project ultimately highlights the potential of virtual reality as a powerful storytelling tool, capable of transforming traditional sports history into an immersive and interactive educational experience for fans and learners alike.
