This thesis presents an automated university course scheduling system created using Python and PyQt5. The application allows users to enter professor availability, course requirements, and classroom information. It then generates valid schedules using a greedy algorithm. The schedules can be displayed flexibly, organized by either professor or room for easy checking and adjustments. The thesis discusses the system's current implementation and features. It also explores future improvements, such as linking to Neptun, identifies system limitations, and reviews different data storage methods including CSV, SQLite, and SQL databases. This work shows the practicality and advantages of automated scheduling for universities and can significantly reduce the time required for schedule creation and updates.
