Many studies have investigated the effects of domestic violence on victims. However, this study explored the role of support services for victims of domestic violence. This study’s findings can be enriching to the literature because there is not enough research on the perception of staff who work at the shelter and OSSC who provides these supports victims be safe, mental health, prevention education, and other services. Data gathered revealed that these support services cannot meet the needs of victims fully which offered at the shelters. As well as support services towards the victim of domestic violence work insufficiently and lack of systematic cooperation. As participants mentioned there should be a lot of improvement in the support services to empower, rebuild their life, and enhance decision making and safety of victims.hu_HU
