The objective of this research topic is to determine the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of CHEMCAD in Kazakhstan for the purpose of optimizing chemical plant processes. Being a foreign student from Kazakhstan, I noticed a difference in the educational approach used by Kazakhstani and Hungarian higher education institutions during my mandatory industrial placement practice. This led me to assess the advantages, prospects and possible difficulties of introducing CHEMCAD in the chemical industry of Kazakhstan by comparing it with other simulation software that is used in practice in chemical plants and educational centers. Based on this assessment methodology, it will be possible to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of CHEMCAD in the activities of chemical plants in Kazakhstan.
