I examined 9nm gold nanoparticle layers prepared under different conditions in order to find the layer with the highest enhancement factor. The layers were investigated under transmission spectroscopy to find their plasmon peaks and SERS enhancement was then measured using a Raman spectroscope and the analyte Rhodamine 6g. The layers' transmission was also measured in air vs water to investigate LSPR sensitivity.hu_HU
