A thesis project for the Business Informatics BSc program. The project visualizes sales data from 2007 to 2009. During the process of building the visualizations, the integration of Python into Tableau is explored using TabPy Server. It includes three interactive dashboards with varying levels of detail: Overall Picture: for managers and supervisors; Discount Impact Analysis: for further analysis and strategy development; Batch Analysis: for identifying insights in real time (with the use of TabPy). TabPy was used as a demonstration of dynamic calculations, such as anomaly detection and end-of-day forecasting. Overall, the project demonstrates the result of combining Tableau and Python as a flexible data-driven Business Intelligence solution.
