The literature study on the potential of microbial degradation for environmentally friendly plastic waste management looks at the state of the field right now. In light of plastic trash's detrimental effects on the environment, the evaluation underlines the necessity of sustainable waste management. It talks about how microbes might be able to break down plastic trash and emphasizes the difficulties that come with it, such as the complexity of plastic components and the diversity of microbial communities. The review closes by stating that further research is needed to create practical methods for managing plastic trash in a sustainable manner. Microbial decomposition of plastic waste is a potential area of research.
