dc.description.abstractThis thesis demonstrates a PLC-based smart home. Two modes auto and manual are the main paths to control the house. When auto is chosen then lighting, heating and cooling, ventilation... are controlled automatically based on sensors and PLC programmed logic. User can at any time use manual commands to override the auto commands. User can also control the house through the designed HMI screen.
