Climate change impacted supply chain for raw materials in different ways , but most important that impacted the chain on all the levels and main components, raw material are heavily impacted by it , it is experiencing scarcity and shifting in regions , even the quality of resources are impacted , such as water , which is the most important component in supply chain and construction sites both , with the rise in temperature and drought cycles alongside with desertification , some of the used to be secure countries in water supplies are suffering from water scarcity and adapting new policies to minimize the usage of water even on a domestic level , also water resources are suffering from decreasing in quality , due to dust storms and polluted supplies. Climate change consequences are not far away from construction sites itself , as it effects the effectiveness of labor and the productivity rate , different research suggested that productivity rates are connected to the high rise of temperature , moreover with the low productivity rates come the high rates of unemployment , thus a lower GDP for the country suffering from it.
