This thesis describes the creation of a web-based Library Management System built with Django. The main goal is to digitalize common library tasks like cataloging books, registering users, and managing borrowing and returns in a secure, easy-to-use system. The system uses a relational database for efficient data storage and retrieval, and relies on Django’s authentication and admin tools to keep data safe and control access. Tests were carried out to check performance, reliability, and usability, showing the system works well for academic institutions. This project shows that modern web technologies can make library management more efficient and improve access to educational resources.
