The primary purpose of this thesis is to examine and investigate the technique, features, and challenges of Virtual Reality exposure therapy. The information obtained from the thesis will be helpful in determining whether or not Virtual Reality exposure therapy is useful in the field of therapy and, if so, whether there are any obvious difficulties that would discourage future use. It also gives a detailed breakdown of the various components associated with virtual reality exposure therapy and a proper insight to the various diseases and illnesses that could be healed or controlled with virtual reality exposure therapy
