This thesis presents the design and development of a personalized nutrition and fitness web application called FitTrack. The system allows users to track their daily calorie intake, calculate their Body Mass Index (BMI), and manage their personal fitness data through an interactive interface. The application was implemented as a fullstack system using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB for the backend. Key features include user authentication, meal tracking with database storage, and personalized calorie recommendations. Security was ensured through the use of password hashing and token based authentication. Overall, the project demonstrates the practical application of web development, data management, and user centered design principles in building a functional and responsive system.
