This thesis investigates the effect of indole on head regeneration in Hydra oligactis, a freshwater cnidarian known for its remarkable regenerative abilities. Through experimental treatments with varying concentrations of indole, the study explores how this microbial metabolite influences tentacle formation, morphology, and regenerative success. The findings offer new insights into the interaction between microbial signals and regenerative biology.
