dc.description.abstractThis paper will discuss and highlight the key features in developing a social media mobile application, some of these features include Authentication, Data Storage, Serving data from the web and many more.. The developed application is called Trendency. It retrieves posts as well as other data from Twitter and Reddit's APIs serving as one platform for both. Flutter was used to develop the application which allows it to run on iOS and Android. The aim was to create a rich user experience and scalable functionality. The developed prototype could be extended to support multiple platforms other than Reddit and Twitter. That decreases the redundancy of having too many social media applications even further.hu_HU
